The Harris Learning Collection is closed for space renovations and an operating system change. We will not be accepting any external reservations from&nbsp;Wednesday, July 29, to Tuesday, November 3.&nbsp;

Staff Holiday Party--Early closure

The Museum will close early on Wednesday, December 16, at 3:00pm (last admission at 2:00pm). Last admission to Pokémon Fossil Museum will be at 2:15pm.

Staff Wellness Closure

The Field Museum will be closed on Thursday, October 8, 2026 for a Staff Wellness Day. We are encouraging our staff to take the time to focus on their own well-being with activities that refresh and rejuvenate them.

The Museum will re-open to the public for regular hours on October 9 at 9am.

Christmas closure 2026

The Museum will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Friday, December 25. We will re-open Saturday, December 26 at 9am.

Thanksgiving closure 2026

The Museum will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 26. We will re-open Friday, November 27 at 9am.
