Christmas closure 2025

<p>The Museum will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Thursday, December 25. We will re-open Friday, December 26 at 9am.</p>


Christmas eve 2025--early closure

<p><span>The Field Museum will close early on Wednesday, December 24 at 3pm (last entry at 2pm). The Museum will be closed on Thursday, December 25 and will reopen on Friday, December 26 with regular hours from 9am-5pm (last entry at 4pm).</span></p>


Gala early closure

<p>On Saturday, October 18, the Museum will close early at 3pm, with last admission at 2pm, in preparation for a special event.</p>


Bears Game 12/20/25

<p>Soldier Field is hosting a Chicago Bears game on Saturday, December 20. <span>Parking on the Museum campus is not available to Museum visitors</span>. Public transportation is highly recommended. <a href="https://www.soldierfieldparking.com/">Parking</a> is available off Museum Campus at McCormick Place or Millenium Park garages.</p>


Bears Game 12/14/2025

<p>Soldier Field is hosting a Chicago Bears game on Sunday, December 14 at 12:00pm. <a href="https://www.fieldmuseum.org/directions-parking">Parking</a> will not be available at Soldier Field, and there will be increased traffic around the museum. Public transportation is highly recommended. Parking is available off Museum Campus at McCormick Place or Millenium Park garages.</p>
