Bike the Drive 2025

<p>On Sunday, August 31, Lake Shore Drive will be closed for <a href="https://bikethedrive.org/">Bike the Drive</a> from <span>Bryn Mawr Ave. to 57th St., from 6am to around noon, </span>impacting access to Museum Campus. Please consider taking public transportation or biking!</p>


Early closure--Staff summer party--sitewide

<p>On Thursday, August 14, the Museum will close early at 3:00pm (last entry 2:00pm), in preparation for a special event.</p>


Bears Game 9/8/25

<p>Soldier Field is hosting a Chicago Bears game on Monday, September 8 at 7:15pm. <a href="https://www.fieldmuseum.org/directions-parking">Parking</a> will be limited. Please allow extra time when traveling to the Museum Campus, and consider taking public transportation.</p>


Staff Wellness Closure 2025

<p dir="auto">The Field Museum will be closed on Thursday, October 9, 2025 for a Staff Wellness Day. We are encouraging our staff to take the time to focus on their own well-being with activities that refresh and rejuvenate them.</p>

<p dir="auto">The Museum will re-open to the public for regular hours on October 10.</p>
