The Museum will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 27. We will re-open Friday, November 28 at 9am.

Christmas closure 2025

The Museum will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Thursday, December 25. We will re-open Friday, December 26 at 9am.

Christmas eve 2025--early closure

The Field Museum will close early on Wednesday, December 24 at 3pm (last entry at 2pm). The Museum will be closed on Thursday, December 25 and will reopen on Friday, December 26 with regular hours from 9am-5pm (last entry at 4pm).

Bears Game 12/20/25

Soldier Field is hosting a Chicago Bears game on Saturday, December 20. Parking on the Museum campus is not available to Museum visitors. Public transportation is highly recommended. <a href="https://www.soldierfieldparking.com/">Parking</a> is available off Museum Campus at McCormick Place or Millenium Park garages.
